April 22nd is EarthDay and this year’s theme is Planet vs. Plastic. This year’s EarthDay theme couldn’t come at a better time, because April 22nd also the day countries from around the world will gather in Ottawa to start the fourth round of negotiations to develop an international treaty on plastic pollution.
EarthDay is an opportunity to reflect on these connections between community and the surrounding environment, celebrate progress toward a better world, and look ahead to ensure a healthy future for people and nature.
