Leading up to EarthDay this year, I’ve been reflecting on the meaning and purpose of the annual celebration. EarthDay began under the Nixon Administration in 1970 as a day to support environmentalprotection and has grown to include nations and communities around the world in appreciation of Mother Earth.
In celebration of EarthDay, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful , whose vision is a clean and beautiful Pennsylvania, encourages residents to join the 2025 Pick Up Pennsylvania initiative. Just Some Pick Up PA EarthDay Events Highlighted below are just a few of over 300 Pick Up Pennsylvania events scheduled for the week of EarthDay.
