Littoral rainforest is a type of forest that grows along the beachfront, providing habitat for native flora and fauna and acting as an important buffer to coastal erosion and wind damage. The project involves the restoration of 37 hectares of littoral rainforest within the Federation Walk Coastal Reserve at The Spit, Main Beach.
