The casing on both wells was open to the atmosphere, but nothing was venting and there were holes in the casing near ground level. Three of the wells-- WT 2850 Lot 8 29, Lot 8 31 and Lot 10 24 were found to be newly drilled and venting gas to the atmosphere, a “normal” operation to clear out any small debris in the well left from drilling.
