Its a great question, but the warming effect from heat-trapping gases far outweighs the cooling effect from industrial aerosols. Of course, continuing to strengthen public health-based standards to cut harmful air pollution from burning fossil fuels, including sulphur dioxide and particulate matter, is essential and lifesaving.
