Theres been a lot of talk about nuclear power recently. Plant owners have been making plans to restart their retired nuclear power plants, Google signed the first corporate deal to purchase energy from small modular nuclear reactors, and the US pledged to triple its nuclear generating capacity by 2050.

Ontario Power Generation has been quietly selling off Clean Energy Credits from its hydro and nuclear power to businesses in the United States since about 2013. The agreement provides Microsoft ongoing Clean Energy Credits so it can claim to be using low carbon electricity. We lose our claim to clean electricity .
