The Canadian government brought very little new to this UN conference. The Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance (BOGA) officially launched with 11 countries and sub-national governments agreeing to get rid of oil and gas. These are projects invested in in the past that would count against a country’s 2030 emission reduction commitments.
