Registration Open For 7-Part Online Tree Tenders Training Workshop Starting Jan. 17 Thru Feb. 28

Since 2004, the program has been supported by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. In 2008 the program expanded to Pittsburgh and smaller metropolitan areas, and since 2013 it has been available statewide. Since 1993 PHS has trained over 4,500 Tree Tenders in 150 Pennsylvania neighborhoods.

Davenport, Iowa, is used to such floods — waters reached similar levels in 2019, 2014, and 2008. Kim Reynolds issued disaster proclamations for 15 of the state’s counties, ABC News reports. A local brewery, Stompbox Brewing, serves beers named “Flood Insurance” and “When the Levee Breaks” during such occasions, KCCI Des Moines reports.

Therefore, applicants should note that mini-grants may not be used as match for other DCNR-funded projects.
