DEP’s work has been guided, in part, by an Environmental Justice Policy adopted in 2004. DEP can now look at more expansive models and have more regularly updated data than was available in 2004. DEP aims to improve the Environmental Justice Policy to make it more expansive, implementable, and understandable.
