So you say that the 2020 fires burned half as much as the 2002 fires. I checked those figures and the figures that I can see the public figures in Australia are that in 2020, 18 million hectares burned, and in 2002 21 million. The idea is that any amount of radiation is harmful and contributes to, you know, shorten life or disease.
